He said that although many in the crypto world see them as representing different values, the areas where he and Vitalik align—such as decentralization, auditability, globalization, and credible neutrality—far outweigh their differences.
Justin further stated that TRON and associated protocols and applications like BitTorrent have long operated under the same core values as Ethereum. With TRON now surpassing 200 million total users and BitTorrent exceeding 2 billion users, it is these shared values—decentralization, auditability, globalization, and credible neutrality—that ensure the long-term stability and success of these internet protocols.
He expressed opposition to the excessive financialization of blockchain protocols. While many people enter the crypto community driven by wealth incentives, he emphasized that adhering to technological values remains paramount. Using himself as an example, he said his initial motivation for joining the crypto space was the belief that this technology holds transformative potential for the world.
Justin stressed that upholding blockchain's core values forms the foundation for creating a better, more sustainable order within the blockchain ecosystem. Philosophically speaking, he said, he shares no fundamental difference with Vitalik regarding the future of blockchain development.
