TechFlow reports, according to data from [email protected], 178,000 BTC options are expiring today with a Put Call Ratio of 0.67, maximum pain at $33,000, and a notional value of $7.59 billion. Meanwhile, 1.49 million ETH options are expiring with a Put Call Ratio of 0.51, maximum pain at $1,900, and a notional value of $3.47 billion.
Today marks the annual large settlement day, with a total of $11 billion in options expiring—surpassing last year's total open interest of $9.8 billion during the annual settlement and exceeding twice the volume settled that year.
