TechFlow News — Aleo, a programmable privacy network, CEO Alex Pruden announced on X that he has officially stepped down and will take on the role of Executive Director at the Aleo Foundation. Alex stated that during his tenure, he rebuilt the team and launched a new consensus algorithm, a new proof system, a refreshed brand identity, a brand-new SDK, a zkCreds-based identity protocol, and three testnets.
He added: "Startup leadership is a pressure cooker—people trusted me as CEO and counted on me to deliver. This made it impossible to separate professional responsibilities from personal ones."
Going forward, the Aleo Foundation will focus on the governance and stewardship of the Aleo network, aiming to achieve this by encouraging developer adoption, application development, and prudent management practices.
