Meow expressed skepticism toward the narrative of "token utility driving value," noting that this idea has gained traction merely because project founders are eager to justify why their tokens hold value. In reality, most people don't care about utility—they care about value. However, the endless focus on utility often leads to numerous misguided decisions, with projects continuously tinkering with tokenomics, potentially causing a short-term price spike that ultimately fades away.
