TechFlow news: Ledger posted on X stating that regarding last week's security incident, approximately $600,000 worth of assets were affected—these funds were stolen from users who blind-signed transactions on EVM DApps.
Ledger will ensure assistance to affected individuals in attempting to recover their funds (committing to complete this by the end of February 2024), and pledges to collaborate with the DApp ecosystem to enable Clear Signing, while discontinuing support for Blind Signing on Ledger devices by June 2024.
Additionally, Ledger reminds users that if you signed a transaction on an affected DApp on December 14, 2023, best security practices recommend revoking any authorized transactions to further mitigate the impact of malicious code.
