TechFlow News — Ripple has been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP).
Ripple stated it has now been added to the CBI’s registered VASP list, enabling the company to offer certain digital asset services in Ireland.
According to data from the CBI VASP register, Ripple is permitted to conduct transactions on behalf of other natural or legal persons, transferring digital assets from one address or account to another.
Data shows that Ripple is also authorized to provide cryptocurrency exchange services against fiat currencies, exchanges between different cryptocurrencies, and custody services.
