TechFlow news: DeFi Technologies has completed an agreement to acquire core intellectual property ("IP") related to the Solana blockchain.
The acquired intellectual property includes a sophisticated set of functionalities, encompassing advanced liquidity provisioning, innovative trading strategies and technologies, as well as distribution, management, and analysis of decentralized financial data. These components are specifically tailored to support the Solana-focused trading platforms operated by DeFi Technologies and Valour Inc.
In exchange for the IP, DeFi Technologies will issue a total of 7,297,090 common shares of the company ("Payment Shares") to Stefan Jørgensen, with each Payment Share valued at USD 0.55. Stefan Jørgensen will also join the DeFi Technologies group. Valour, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DeFi Technologies and issuer of ETPs, manages CAD 168.8 million in Solana-related assets.
