TechFlow news: According to the Chosun Ilbo, Lee Bok-hyun, Chair of South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC), will travel to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in January 2024 to share insights on the virtual asset market and discuss regulatory policies.
The trip aims to explore issues related to the management and regulation of virtual asset markets, emphasizing the importance of international regulatory cooperation. Lee stated that the safety of virtual assets could become a major issue in the second half of next year, and plans to use this visit to proactively prepare response strategies.
