TechFlow reports that Barnyard Games, a game development company built on the metaverse platform Fortnite, has announced a new round of financing totaling $3.4 million, led by Menlo Ventures with participation from BetaWorks, Alumni Ventures, Charge VC, and key strategic angel investors Eden Chen and Nate Mitchell. Barnyard Games has launched five games to date.
Notably, this funding marks the first investment deal led by Amy Wu at Menlo Ventures, following her transition from being a former gaming partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and former head of gaming at FTX.
