TechFlow reports that due to the surge in the price of the BONK token, the value of BONK tokens given away with the Solana Web3 phone Saga has exceeded the official retail price of the Saga phone itself. Users who hold a wallet activated upon setting up the Saga phone and received the Saga Genesis Token can claim 30 million BONK tokens via the Bonk DApp. The current value of these tokens is close to $700, while the official price of the Saga phone is $599.
Solana co-founder Raj Gokal posted on X: "Saga sales have grown more than tenfold over the past 48 hours and are now on track to sell out before the new year."
Reportedly, Saga is a blockchain-enabled smartphone featuring specialized functionality that securely stores a user's cryptocurrency directly on the phone's own hardware.
