TechFlow news, according to an official announcement, OKX has initiated the quarterly burn of OKB from September 1, 2023 to November 30, 2023. This marks the 22nd OKB burn event, with a total of 10,527,664.73 OKB tokens removed from circulation and sent to a black hole address.
Since May 4, 2019, OKX has been conducting quarterly burns of OKB—up to 300 million tokens in total supply—based on market and operational performance every three months by permanently removing them via transfer to a black hole address. To date, a cumulative total of 80,710,499.91 OKB tokens have been burned.
