TechFlow reports that on-chain records from the Sepolia testnet suggest Starknet may be testing L1-to-L2 STRK token bridging on this testnet.
Several hours ago, multiple transactions involving test STRK tokens—using the same contract address as the mainnet STRK (starting with 0xca14)—appeared on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet. One transaction, transferring 1,234 test STRK tokens, appears to represent a cross-chain transfer of STRK test tokens from L1 to L2.
Data from the Starknet Sepolia testnet shows that minutes after confirmation of the above transaction, an address starting with 0x0137 on the Starknet testnet received 1,234 test STRK tokens.
Previous report: Today, Starknet version V0.13.0 was deployed on the testnet, enabling STRK to be used for paying transaction fees.
