TechFlow reports that Eclipse, an Ethereum Layer 2 using the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) as its execution environment, has launched its testnet. The first 1,000 developers to deploy contracts on this testnet will receive commemorative NFTs.
Previous report: Blockchain infrastructure project Eclipse announced the launch of Eclipse Mainnet, an Ethereum Layer 2 network powered by SVM. Eclipse will settle on Ethereum and use ETH as its gas token. The project will run high-performance SVM within its execution environment and utilize Celestia for data availability (DA) to achieve scalable data publication.
