TechFlow reports that The Sandbox has partnered with AIA Carnival, Hong Kong's annual traditional festival, to merge physical and virtual experiences, offering visitors a unique cross-domain experience.
AIA Carnival has launched a single-player interactive game on The Sandbox, where players can win NFT in-game outfits, passes, and tickets to the AIA Carnival.
In addition to providing virtual experiences, The Sandbox is showcasing digital activities at the AIA Carnival, including avatar dance battles, 3D pixel modeling workshops, and a metaverse building competition.
Notably, the AIA Carnival is the first major event in Hong Kong to offer cryptocurrency payment options, partnering with hi.com to enable visitors to make purchases using SAND tokens.
