TechFlow reported, according to The Block, that Celestia has integrated its data availability layer with Polygon Labs' Chain Development Kit (CDK). This integration introduces a dedicated data availability solution for Layer 2 projects using Polygon CDK—such as OKX, Immutable, Astar, IDEX, and Palm networks—to reduce their gas fees.
Notably, Celestia's strategy involves its own data availability solution capable of providing storage bandwidth for multiple Layer 2 networks simultaneously. By enabling networks to run light nodes, the solution facilitates DA verification without imposing excessive strain on the network.
