TechFlow reports that FIFA will launch digital collectibles, offering holders a chance to attend the 2026 World Cup final. The first 100 digital collectibles will be rare items granting access to tickets for the 2026 World Cup final. Another 900 digital collectibles will be issued on the Polygon network and made available on the OpenSea platform.
FIFA's NFTs were initially minted on Algorand, but there are plans to migrate them to Polygon in an upcoming second phase. Modex will take over the "strategic management" of FIFA's digital collectibles platform, which has already launched several football-themed collections.
