TechFlow news: FIFA has announced a partnership with technology company Modex to launch digital collectibles for the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 later this week.
The first 100 collectibles will go on sale December 15 via FIFA Collect+, including the rarest items, with owners receiving a chance to win tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Another 900 digital collectibles will be issued on the Polygon network and made available on OpenSea, scheduled for release on December 19 as the FIFA Club World Cup approaches.
Notably, FIFA's previous NFTs were minted on the Algorand blockchain. The second phase of this new series will shift to the Polygon chain. FIFA stated it plans to launch more digital collectibles via the Polygon network in the future.
