TechFlow reports that the Cosmos Hub has initiated a community proposal to deploy permissioned smart contracts, aiming to utilize CosmWasm for governance functions including governance smart contracts, token management, time-bound voting periods, upgradable contracts, and governance tokens.
Some ways CosmWasm can contribute to chain security enhancement include: access control and permissions, multi-signature wallets, time-locked contracts, audited upgradable contracts, custody and exchange solutions, and integration of secure oracle data feeds.
