TechFlow news: Despite the Salvadoran government's push for widespread cryptocurrency adoption, according to Triple-A data, approximately 109,175 people in El Salvador own cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, accounting for 1.72% of the country's population (6.36 million). Additionally, El Salvador ranks 55th globally on the cryptocurrency adoption index.
President Nayib Bukele recently announced that the country's total Bitcoin investment has reached $131 million, generating a net profit of $3.6 million with a total return of 2.84% as of December 4.
