TechFlow reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has held discussions with prospective issuers and is currently engaging with them on key technical details.
The report did not disclose the names of the issuers the regulator is currently discussing technical details with, but revealed that the ongoing discussions include "substantive details, some of which are typically addressed toward the end of the ETF application process," citing "a dozen or so industry executives and SEC public memos." The discussions also cover "custody arrangements, creation and redemption mechanisms, and investor risk disclosures."
