TechFlow News — Michael Jackson's first recording, "Big Boy (One-Derful Version)," will be released on December 7 as a "digital vinyl" via blockchain music platform Anotherblock, offering images of the master tape and song tracks. Open edition and limited editions will go on sale within 48 hours.
The release is a collaboration between record owner Recordpool and Anotherblock, a Sweden-based blockchain-powered music and royalty marketplace. Anotherblock has previously partnered with other major artists including Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber.
Katherine Jackson, mother of Michael Jackson, expressed excitement over the release, calling it “a new melody for our musical legacy in the digital age. It proves that the story of the Jackson family and our music remains timeless.”
