TechFlow news: The community testing program for the Metis PoS sequencer pool will launch on January 3.
Metis is set to become the first Ethereum Rollup with a decentralized sequencer, and community members will have the opportunity to directly participate in and help achieve this significant milestone. The community test will last 28 days and consist of two seasons:

Season 1 will run from January 3 to January 17, focusing primarily on testing Metis dApps on the Holesky testnet. This phase will allow developers to stress-test the sequencer pool, make potential adjustments, and enable users to try out various existing and new Metis dApps on the testnet, including the native liquid staking protocol, Hummus DeFi—a highly efficient single-sided stablecoin swap—and Tethys Finance, a perpetuals trading platform allowing up to 50x leverage.

Details about Season 2 will be announced during Season 1. This community testing initiative by Metis aims to drive community engagement, decentralization, and innovation, marking a new phase in Metis' development.
