TechFlow news — Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Solana infrastructure provider Helius, tweeted that contrary to popular belief, improving user experience 100x and "abstracting" blockchain does almost nothing for cryptocurrency adoption. He believes this isn't a supply problem, but a demand problem.
In short, people will endure great friction to use something they need, but they won't develop demand for something just because it's easy to use.
He pointed out that every entrepreneur should understand: a product's first iteration is often awkward. Great user experience is the icing on the cake, not the main course.
