TechFlow News, Africa's largest cryptocurrency exchange VALR has announced the launch of perpetual futures trading, including the first perpetual futures pairs of Bitcoin and USD Tether (USDT) against the South African Rand.
The new product offers a competitive alternative to platforms such as Binance, ByBit, and Kraken.
Perpetual futures have no expiration date, support more sophisticated risk management strategies, and now account for over 75% of global cryptocurrency trading volume. VALR is introducing up to 5x leverage for the first time, enhancing capital efficiency.
The exchange has also partnered with Visa to obtain approval for cryptocurrency services in Europe and is actively pursuing licenses in Mauritius and Dubai.
