TechFlow news: According to official information, Chaim, Chief Growth Officer of DeFi investment platform Credix, stated that Credix has secured $60 million in credit financing. This loan was obtained jointly with a U.S.-based alternative investment management firm focused on asset lending opportunities, which manages a $3 billion investment portfolio.
This round of credit financing will provide senior debt to technology-enabled platforms serving Latin America to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The initial tranche of $7.5 million will support SMEs in Brazil through accounts receivable financing.
Previously, DeFi investment platform Credix raised $11.25 million in a Series A funding round in September 2022, led by Motive Partners' early-stage fund and ParaFi Capital, with participation from Valor Capital Group, Victory Park Capital, and Ricardo Villela Marino, Chairman of Itaú Latam.
