TechFlow news, according to CoinDesk, institutional-grade cryptocurrency custodian Hex Trust announced on Wednesday that it has successfully obtained a full operating license from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).
This operating license represents the final approval under VARA’s regulatory framework for crypto service providers, which came into effect earlier this year.
Hex Trust had already received regulatory approval in February, obtaining a minimum viable product (MVP) operating license. Completing the final step of the licensing process now enables Hex Trust to offer comprehensive cryptocurrency custody services to institutional clients and qualified investors in Dubai.
In addition, the company also received registration approval from France’s financial markets regulator in August, allowing it to provide digital asset custody, purchase, sale, and trading services—marking Hex Trust’s expansion into the European market.
