At the opening remarks of the finance ministers' meeting on November 13, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said they would discuss "long-term priority areas," with a focus on sustainability. They will also hold two sessions addressing supply-side economics and digital assets. Yellen specifically mentioned unsecured crypto assets, stablecoins, and central bank digital currencies. Yellen stated, "Sharing insights and collaborating with the private sector enables us to better understand the tools available to policymakers for the responsible development and use of digital assets."
