TechFlow news, according to The Block, former President of Polygon Labs, Ryan Wyatt, has joined Optimism as Chief Growth Officer. He is no longer serving as an advisor at Polygon but will continue to serve on the board of directors for the nonprofit organization Gamers Outreach and as a venture partner at venture capital firm Bitkraft. As Chief Growth Officer, Wyatt will be responsible for expanding the Optimism ecosystem, working with developers, strengthening partnerships, and coordinating with external contributors.
Wyatt joined Polygon in February 2022, focusing on expanding initiatives in gaming, fashion, entertainment, news, and sports. Prior to that, he spent seven years as Head of Gaming at video streaming platform YouTube, served as Vice President of Programming at Major League Baseball (now part of gaming giant Activision Blizzard), and worked as an esports commentator.
