TechFlow news: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in an interview that the company plans to secure additional funding from investors such as Microsoft to advance its vision of achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI).
In addition, the company is developing its next-generation AI model, GPT-5, though no release timeline has been set. Altman noted that current GPT models are one of the key components for building AGI, but other elements are also needed.
He stated that OpenAI remains focused on large language models (LLMs), which represent a crucial approach toward achieving AGI.
