TechFlow News — Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, stated at the 2023 Australian Cryptocurrency Conference that the 2024 Bitcoin halving is a pivotal moment, and he expects Bitcoin to become a "teenage mainstream asset."
He believes Bitcoin will enter a high-growth phase during the 2024–2028 cycle, with widespread adoption by major global tech companies and large banks integrating BTC into their products and services. Additionally, key financial institutions may venture into Bitcoin lending, mortgage financing, and related businesses, triggering intense competition.
Saylor forecasts that Bitcoin will surpass other high-quality assets within 25 years, reaching between $1 million and $10 million per coin.
To date, MicroStrategy has spent approximately $4.69 billion acquiring Bitcoin, with unrealized gains exceeding $1.2 billion.
