TechFlow reports, according to on-chain analyst ZachXBT's tweet, a cryptocurrency wallet linked to the Binance deployer was hacked yesterday, losing 27 million USDT. Shortly after the theft, the stolen USDT was exchanged for ETH and laundered through mixers such as FixedFloat and non-custodial crypto exchange platform ChangeNow, then bridged to the Bitcoin network via THORChain.
On-chain data shows that this wallet withdrew approximately 26 million USDT from Binance one week ago. Additionally, in May 2019, the wallet received funds from an address marked as the Binance smart contract deployer.
