On October 12, Suji, founder of Mask Network, posted a tweet stating, "We've just donated $100,000 to the core team/foundation of Mastodon, marking the largest single donation to this nonprofit organization to date. Our ultimate goal remains unchanged—advancing the decentralized social network movement."
The CFO of Mastodon published a blog post titled "Thank you Sujitech," expressing gratitude to Suji and noting, "Sujitech is a Japanese tech company whose mission is to achieve a truly free and open internet, and has supported Mastodon in various ways over the years. They stepped in to maintain and prevent the shutdown of multiple Mastodon servers when the original operators could no longer run them. In 2021, we collaborated to build the first prototype of the official Mastodon iOS app."
