TechFlow News — Artificial intelligence startup Humane has launched the AI Pin, a wearable virtual assistant that integrates OpenAI technology and Microsoft's cloud computing services.
The AI Pin is a lapel pin-style device allowing users to interact with a virtual AI assistant by tapping, as well as through a touchpad, hand gestures, and a laser ink display. The device supports functions such as message composition, email sorting, and music playback. It is priced at $699 with a monthly subscription fee of $24.
Humane plans to launch an MVNO powered by T-Mobile's wireless network. The AI Pin will be available for pre-order in the United States starting November 16. The company has raised $241 million from investors and was founded by former Apple employees.
