TechFlow reported, according to The Block, Nasdaq has submitted to the SEC BlackRock's proposed Ethereum spot ETF, the "iShares Ethereum Trust." This Ethereum ETF will use Coinbase Custody Trust Company as custodian and will utilize the CME CF Ether-Dollar Reference Rate.
Other asset management firms including Grayscale, Ark Invest, ProShares, and Valkyrie have also filed applications for spot Ethereum ETFs.
Earlier reports indicated that BlackRock registered an Ethereum trust in Delaware.
