TechFlow reports that the Render Network Foundation has announced it will distribute up to 1.14 million RNDR tokens over the first year following migration to Solana to new node operators joining via Compute Clients. The first partner is io.net.
The foundation of Render Network is a network composed of GPUs capable of executing various large-scale parallel workloads through its SDK, including machine learning (ML) training, inference, and fine-tuning.
According to Ahmad Shadid, CEO of io.net, their collaboration will extend node usage from rendering to ML applications, strengthening both parties' services. The Render Network Foundation will distribute 300,000 RNDR tokens to attract new GPU node operators.
Ryan Shea, advisor at Render Foundation, stated they welcome new node operators from external Compute Clients and hope to see tens of thousands of nodes join to support AI, LLMs, and other GPU-intensive computing demands.
