TechFlow news — At the first Global Creators Day event, The Sandbox announced plans to enhance creator capabilities ahead of 2024, aiming to increase user-generated experiences to 2,000 and launch a mobile version in 2024.
Currently, the ecosystem includes over 200 creator studios, 200 experiences in development, 130,000 creators, and 24,000 LAND owners.
During the event, the co-founders unveiled three major new initiatives designed to empower creators within the platform's ecosystem, particularly in user-generated content (UGC):
-
The Sandbox Open: Starting November 3, 2023, LAND owners can immediately publish their completed experiences without an application process, accelerating user-generated content creation.
-
New Game Maker version (0.9): To be updated by the end of 2023, introducing new game mechanics, templates, and social interactions for enhanced functionality.
-
New $100 million SAND Game Maker Fund: Launching in 2024, it will reward creators through a DAO-based selection system to incentivize engaging experiences.
