TechFlow reports that Strike, a cryptocurrency payment app built on the Bitcoin Lightning Network, has announced the launch of new features including direct deposits, wire transfers, and card payments. The updates include:
1. Support for wire transfers, allowing Strike customers to transfer unlimited funds and purchase any amount of bitcoin, with all bitcoin immediately withdrawable;
2. Direct deposit functionality, enabling users to receive any portion of their salary in bitcoin via Strike;
3. Expanded payment methods, including debit card support and enhanced bank connectivity;
4. Certain customers can now use Strike alongside their linked payment methods without needing to pre-fund an account—enabling Lightning payments via debit card, or sending bitcoin to cold wallets directly from bank accounts.
