TechFlow news, Axie Infinity developer Sky Mavis has partnered with South Korean game studio ACT Games to migrate all of ACT Games' titles onto the Ronin network.
The first step in this collaboration is moving Zoids Wild Arena, ACT Games’ collectible card game (TCG) available on Android and PC, to Ronin, an Ethereum sidechain.
Zoids Wild Arena TCG was initially launched on Polygon, another Ethereum sidechain, where it has been in testing. It will now transition to Ronin—the same blockchain ecosystem hosting games like Axie Infinity and The Machines.
Following its full launch on Ronin scheduled for November 8, Sky Mavis representatives confirmed that ACT Games plans to migrate its entire game portfolio to the Ronin network, which currently includes the Aggretsuko puzzle game and Bubble Bobble-themed Bub's Puzzle Blast.
ACT Games is a publisher that has secured multiple licensing agreements for Japanese IPs including Aggretsuko and Bubble Bobble. The Zoids Wild Arena IP originates from Tomy, the Japanese toy company known for its mecha model kits, which have spawned six distinct "Zoids" anime series since 1999.
