TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that the spot Bitcoin ETF "Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF" (ticker: BTCO), jointly launched by Invesco and Galaxy, has been added to the website of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in the U.S., with the Create/Redeem column marked as N.
A DTCC spokesperson said adding a security to the NSCC Securities Eligibility List is a standard step "in preparation for launching a new ETF to market." Inclusion on the list does not indicate the outcome of any pending regulatory or other approval processes.
It is understood that Y indicates shares can be actively created and redeemed, while N means the ETF does not allow active creation or redemption of shares.
