TechFlow News — Layer1 blockchain Saga has announced the launch of its incentivized Pegasus testnet, with plans to launch the Saga mainnet in early 2024.
As part of the incentivized testnet launch, Saga is rolling out an initiative to airdrop SAGA tokens to developers, end users, validators, and community members who contribute to the Saga ecosystem.
Saga enables developers to automatically spin up parallel, interoperable dedicated chains that can elastically scale based on their Web3 application needs. Leveraging shared security, advanced validator orchestration, and a standardized automated deployment pipeline across any type of blockchain virtual machine, Saga makes launching a dedicated chain—or Chainlet—as simple as deploying a smart contract.
Previously, in May 2022, Saga raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round at a $130 million valuation, with participation from Hypersphere Ventures, LongHash Ventures, Polygon Labs, Samsung Next, and others.
