TechFlow — The Starknet Foundation has announced the Starknet Early Community Members Program (ECMP), which will distribute 50 million yet-to-be-released STRK tokens to early ecosystem contributors. This includes individuals who have encouraged technical discussions, organized Starknet-related events, and consistently published content promoting the Starknet brand. Individuals and projects must apply for rewards and provide detailed information about their contributions. The program is not open to users in the United States. Applications will remain open until November 19, with final decisions to be made by December 29.
It is reported that one hundred billion STRK tokens have already been minted but remain locked, with unlocking scheduled for April 15, 2024. The majority of these tokens are allocated to the Starknet Foundation, with 32.9% assigned to core contributors and 17% to investors. The ECMP initiative forms part of the Foundation's token distribution plan. Starknet clarifies that this token allocation is not classified as an airdrop.
