TechFlow news: Apple today announced its second fall event of 2023, themed "(Scary Fast)," scheduled for 8:00 AM Beijing time on October 31.
The October event is expected to focus on Mac computers, with Apple likely to update products such as the iMac.
This will be a pre-recorded presentation, though Apple will also invite media outlets including IT Home to view it at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
The current 24-inch iMac was released in April 2021 and remains the only Mac model equipped with the M1 chip—now two and a half years old. Following Apple's typical pattern, the update would primarily involve new chips. While it's unclear whether Apple plans to introduce an M3 chip, even an upgrade to the M2 series would represent a significant improvement.
