TechFlow news — On October 24, according to an official announcement by CoinTR exchange and public records from the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, ŞAKİR ERCAN, former Deputy Minister of Monitoring and Inspection for Treasury and Finance of Turkey, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of CoinTR. Additionally, ERGÜN AKINCI, current Chief Advisor at the Central Bank of Turkey and former Chairman of Deutsche Bank Turkey, along with MEHMET EMİN, former Deputy General Manager of Vakıfbank (Turkey's state-owned bank), have been appointed as board members. ALİ EŞELİOĞLU has been named Chief Executive Officer; he previously served as Deputy Director of the Market Department at the Central Bank of Turkey, overseeing national gold reserves, import/export operations, foreign exchange trading, and bond/note transactions, before stepping down one week ago. Yakup DEMİR has been appointed Chief Compliance Officer of CoinTR, formerly serving as Head of Institutional Authorization and Licensing Office at Turkey’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK).
