TechFlow reports that gaming guild Merit Circle has announced the migration of its $MC token to $BEAM on October 26, adapting to the needs of the Merit Circle ecosystem. Users can complete the migration by visiting the official website, connecting their wallet, and clicking the migration button.
Each $MC will be converted into 100 $BEAM tokens, and the migration period will last at least 12 months.
The $BEAM token will serve as the native token of the Beam network, with multiple use cases including functioning as fuel for blockchain games and as a governance token for DAO treasury management.
Unmigrated $MC tokens will remain unchanged, but only token holders have the right to perform the migration. The smart contract code has been audited.
Previously, it was reported that gaming guild Merit Circle will launch Beam, a game-focused subnet built on Avalanche. Beam will operate as an independent sovereign network catering to both gamers and game developers, offering existing Merit Circle products alongside three new games: Trial Xtreme, Walker World, and Hash Rush.
