TechFlow reports that Aave has partnered with Web3 bug bounty platform Immunefi to launch a bug bounty program offering rewards in a combination of AAVE and stablecoins, with a maximum reward of $1 million.
For critical smart contract vulnerabilities, the reward will be 10% of the directly affected funds, up to a maximum of $1 million. The amount at risk is calculated based on the time and date when the vulnerability report is submitted.
In addition, a minimum reward of $50,000 is offered to incentivize security researchers to disclose vulnerabilities rather than withhold reports.
