TechFlow reported, according to Andre Cronje, the funds stolen on Fantom belong to employees rather than the foundation.
Earlier reports indicated that Spreek, a user on X, disclosed the draining of FTM from wallet addresses 1, 16, and 19 associated with the Fantom Foundation. Preliminary estimates suggest the attacker's total profit from these wallets—though not necessarily all originating from Fantom or related accounts—amounted to approximately $6.7 million, with team member wallets accounting for around $3.4 million in losses. The Fantom Foundation stated that the majority of its assets are stored in cold wallets and remain unaffected.
