TechFlow news: Bitmain has issued a notice announcing the termination of three employees who violated company policies by disclosing salary information on online platforms such as Maimai. The notice reiterated that employees are prohibited from disclosing company information without authorization.
Bitmain stated that these three employees caused serious negative impacts and violated company regulations including the "External Information Disclosure Management Guidelines," the "Confidentiality, Non-Competition, and Intellectual Property Agreement," the "Labor Contract," and the "Employee Handbook." As a result, they have been immediately dismissed and will never be rehired. The company also reserves the right to pursue further legal liabilities against these individuals.
Earlier reports indicated that the company had distributed the delayed portion of September salaries on October 8. In an internal email, the company explained that operating cash flow for September had not turned positive, particularly due to underperformance in certain mining sites, leading to the decision to postpone part of the September salary payments. The exact timing for future disbursements will depend on ongoing circumstances.
