TechFlow news — Game of Silks, an NFT-powered fantasy horse racing startup, has raised $5 million in funding, bringing its total funding to over $10 million.
Game of Silks issues NFTs linked to thoroughbred racehorses, allowing owners to earn rewards based on the real-world performance of the horses represented by their NFTs. Founded in June 2021, the company partners with organizations including The New York Racing Association, Belmont Park, The Jockeys' Guild, and Americas Best Racing, a property of Fox Sports.
According to OpenSea data, Game of Silks has minted over 7,000 "Silks Genesis Avatars" NFTs, with a current floor price of 0.088 ETH ($125).
