TechFlow news, on October 5, Bitget released a report on the investment goals and behaviors of global cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Conducted from May to August 2023, the in-depth study covered 20 countries worldwide including Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey, sampling 1,500 crypto enthusiasts. The research comprehensively analyzed respondents' financial goals and investment behaviors across target countries, revealing that the most common financial goal among global cryptocurrency investors is to improve their standard of living and quality of life.
The report shows that 46% of South Korean crypto investors primarily aim to enhance their living standards, while 36% of Malaysians and people from Taiwan prioritize increasing household income. Gender also influences financial objectives: in South Korea, Japan, and Turkey, women demonstrate higher demand for crypto investments than men. In South Korea and Japan, respectively, 49% and 41% of women hope to improve their personal lives through cryptocurrency investments, compared to 45% and 30% of men. Regarding investment amounts, Chinese investors are the most active, with 19% investing over $100,000. In Europe, Turkey, and South Korea, around 50% of investors allocate between $1,000 and $10,000 to cryptocurrency investments.
