TechFlow news — According to The Barron's, Coinbase is leading a cryptocurrency lobbying campaign aimed at winning legislative support for new industry regulations. Sources familiar with the matter said that Coinbase is helping cover travel costs for more than 50 executives from crypto firms flying to Washington, D.C., to lobby lawmakers. Coinbase also plans to park an armored "cash-in-transit" truck near the U.S. Capitol, which will serve as a mobile billboard.
Previously, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that crypto lobbying efforts need to be strengthened ahead of the upcoming 2024 U.S. election.
